Protect your monthly report the same way every time
A report with the same columns each month needs the same protection each month. Set your rules once, save them as a Protection Plan, and apply the plan to next month's file.
What happens each month

How to do it
Protect the first file
Choose the rules and review the preview.
Save your choices as a plan
Give it a name you will recognize. Each plan keeps its earlier versions.
Open next month's file
DataAttendant compares it with your plans by column names, order and types of value, never by the values themselves.
Update the plan when your rules change
When your rules have a newer version, you can update the plan. Before you do, DataAttendant tells you whether the same file may export differently.
What to know
- Plans are stored in your browser. Export a plan as a file to keep a copy or to move it to another computer.
- If the file has different columns, DataAttendant does not apply the plan on its own.
- A plan made for spreadsheets and text files does not apply to JSON, JSON Lines or XML files, and the reverse.
- Restoring works only in the browser that holds your protection keys.
